Nucomme | Artist and Entrepreneur
Nucomme is a woman of many different talents who is known to have her hand in more than one pot. Over a decade of living in NYC has placed Nucomme found herself working in many different scenes. Initially she moved to NYC to study music classical music at Hunter College. She soon found herself moving around the city to explore her artistic endeavors and hung at local open mics around the village.
When Nucomme was not producing her first love, music, she retreated to the bar/restaurant to cultivate her skills from working in various fine dining restaurants, catering companies, local dive bars, underground speakeasies and lofts.
Her early experiences in Harlem she was introduced to a group of writers, poets, and painters that introduced her to a subculture of hosting artist salons in their homes. Once Nucomme got a sense of the uptown vibe she continued further downtown to the Brooklyn art scene and really had the opportunity to perfect her crafts. Brooklyn strong community ties and economic development became an ideal playground for Nucomme the budding entreprenure. It was there that she took all of her talents and cultivated them into cocktail slinging, event planning/coordinating, musical performances and brings them all under one roof.
